When you sell 214 SKUs sourced from nine suppliers, your catalog is a collage: different backgrounds, different lighting, different margins around every product. One home-goods seller asked us a blunt question — could batch reshoot make all of it match?
The starting point
Their library was a mix of supplier renders, lightbox photos from 2022, and phone shots taken in a warehouse aisle. Individually fine; side by side, chaos. The store looked stitched together because the photography was.
The batch workflow
- Export the originals — One folder of source images, straight out of their store, no prep or cropping.
- One template, locked — Soft Shadow Shot at 1:1, applied to every SKU for a uniform look.
- Batches of 100 — Three runs on a Creator plan; each batch finished in under ten minutes.
- Review and re-roll — Eleven images got a second pass with a tweaked prompt. Total rework: minutes.
It looks like we hired one photographer for everything we've ever sold.
The results
The full refresh took an afternoon and roughly 900 credits. Four weeks in, the store's overall conversion rate was up 14% — with the biggest gains on the SKUs whose old photos were warehouse phone shots.
